The store now offers in-store tinting of Awlgrip and Awlcraft 3000 using specialized tint machines and the proprietary Awlmix system from AkzoNobel. This advanced system can produce tens of thousands of color combinations, catering to the diverse needs of the marine industry. A large percentage of the world’s superyachts are painted with the Awlgrip System from International Yacht Coatings, renowned for its superior quality and durability.
Marine Trade Supplies is also a proud International Marine Distributor, tinting a range of products in-store, including epoxy primers, tank coatings, and top coats like Interthane 990. The marine coatings range by AkzoNobel is typically used on commercial vessels and in tanks or bilges of larger steel superyachts.
Additionally, as a PPG Marine & CPC Distributor, Marine Trade Supplies can tint in-store products like Barrier 625, another high-quality option used in both superyachts and commercial vessels.
In response to the growing demand in the marine industry, Marine Trade Supplies is expanding its facilities. The latest expansion, set to be completed by June 1st, 2025, will add an additional 333 square meters to the store. Affectionately called “The Paint Locker,” this new space will be dedicated to the Marine & Protective Coatings division, further enhancing the store’s ability to meet the needs of its customers.
