Great news for boaties and trades on the Gold Coast — Marine Trade Supplies is now an appointed reseller of Wema tank senders and gauges. The range is in stock and ready to go, both in the Coomera store and on the online shop.
Wema is a well-known Norwegian brand for marine tank-level sensing and instrumentation. Their senders and matching gauges are widely used on recreational boats, commercial craft and OEM builds where a reliable fuel, water or waste reading matters. In Australia, Wema products are supplied through Amelec Australia in Western Australia — the sole Australian agent for the brand — and we now carry a solid selection for local customers.
What’s in the range
We stock Wema fuel/water tank senders in both common mount styles:
- S3 threaded senders — 1¼" BSP mount, 316 stainless steel, magnetic reed-switch sensing, American resistance (240–30 ohms)
- S5 flanged senders — SAE 5-hole flange mount, same stainless reed-switch construction and resistance standard
Lengths cover everyday tank depths from trailerable boats through to larger vessels. Matching 52 mm gauges (stainless or plastic bezel) are available for fuel and waste, plus voltmeters for 12 V and 24 V systems, and the usual flange adaptors.

Why boaties and trades choose Wema
Wema pioneered reed-switch tank level monitoring, and the stainless construction is built for a hard life in fuel, fresh water and waste tanks. Senders suit standard American (and European) gauge resistances, so they drop in cleanly with common marine instruments. Waste senders include a removable screen to help keep solids out of the sensing area.
Whether you’re replacing a tired sender on a runabout, fitting out a new build, or stocking the workshop, it’s handy to get the right length and mount from one place.
