The inbuilt solar panel charges the NiCad batteries (supplied) so there is no need to use an external power supply, this excellent, small but effective unit is designed to stand alone and be self sufficient. Using the inbuilt silent ultrasonic sound as well as choosing the optional strobe light creates a no go zone on your boat, rooftop or on your home.
For boats it is best to position one unit on the deck facing backwards and one on the aft pointing forward.
Use 2-3 units pointing in towards each other to create powerful coverage.
