Help Ronald McDonald House Charities This November

This November the Boating Industry is doing its very best to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland has been supporting seriously ill children and their families for over 30 years. Through their accommodation and support services, they strive to help families stay together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness.

Part of your donation you will go in the draw to win our grand prize of up to $1000 of International Yacht Paint. Top Coat, Primers or Antifouling Paint, the choice is yours! (Must be collected within 30 days of the draw which will be November 24th, 2023

Organising this fundraiser is the team at Marine Trade Supplies located at The Boat Works Coomera in conjunction with AkzoNobel International Yacht Paint who are kindly donating the wonderful prize and of course with the permission of Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland. Commencing November 1st through to 24th November 2023 we hope that the whole marine industry will get behind this wonderful initiative & support the Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland chapter.

We deal with many people day in day out, our customers, suppliers, friends & family & we have all experienced a few good years in the marine industry. It is time to give back!

We invite our respected customers, suppliers, shipyards, boat builders, suppliers & wholesalers plus the hundreds of local business’s that profit from the marine industry. Anyone with a spare coin to get involved. Let’s do what we can for a great charity where your cash donation will truly help families with seriously ill or injured children who are experiencing physical, emotional and financial stress. All donations over $2 are tax deductable. We are not asking for your products or services; we need cash for these sick children. Any amount is welcome and 100% collected will be donated. Let’s make that figure in the thousands!

A ticket in the draw to have a chance at $1000 worth of International Yacht Paint (at retail value) will cost you $5 but a $2 coin in the tin will make you feel good I promise as you have done something to help a sick child or keep a Mum by a child’s side during one of the toughest times of their life.

We all know someone who has been touched a serious illness or injury and it is especially hard when it is a beautiful young child. Families are literally turned upside down when affected trying to be there for and with a young one at the hospital. Stressed & often a long way from home. Having to pay for accommodation, food, tests and medicines. Not to mention having to explain to a child what terrible thing may be happening that Mum & Dad cannot fix for them. It breaks your heart just writing about it.

So please, get on board and donate! We will hold a couple of Sausage Sizzle breakfast’s at Marine Trade Supplies through November.

We will be asking you to donate $2 at the registers or if you would like to buy a $5 ticket in the draw through the month & if you cannot, we understand. You will probably get sick of us asking – however, it is only for 3 weeks & 100% of what is collected is going to the charity. It might just make Christmas bearable for a few families in need.
